AI is an excellent tool for processing data, but it is a terrible substitute for leadership accountability. When leaders let an AI write their weekly updates or draft their headlines, they are outsourcing their ownership of the seat. They arrive unprepared to defend the metrics or explain the real stories behind the numbers.

To stop this, establish a clear boundary for AI usage in your meeting prep. AI can compile the raw operational data and highlight anomalies, but the leader must synthesize that information and present it in their own voice.

If a leader reads a sterile, generic update that sounds like a machine wrote it, the facilitator must call it out. Ask the leader to explain the human context behind the summary. Ask what the metric actually means for their team's capacity or customer satisfaction.

Make it clear that the Level 10 Meeting™ is about human alignment and trust. If a leader cannot explain their numbers or headlines without relying on an AI-generated script, they do not truly own their seat on the Accountability Chart. Use AI to gather the facts, but require your leaders to bring their own brains, passion, and ownership to the table.
