The Level 10 Meeting is a real-time problem-solving session, not a lecture. If a leader is checked out because they plan to read the summary later, they are not contributing to the solution.

To solve this, ban automatic transcription bots from your weekly meeting. The ninety minutes you spend together is sacred. It requires full presence and active participation.

If you want to use AI to optimize your workflow, do it before or after the meeting, not during it. For example, you can use AI to analyze historical scorecard trends or compile client feedback ahead of time so you arrive with better data.

During the meeting, the only documentation you need is the creation of clear, actionable to-dos. The person responsible for the to-do must write it down themselves in your tracking system. This physical act of writing reinforces personal accountability.

Keep your technology focused on prep and follow-up, but keep the actual meeting human, intense, and fully engaged. If a leader cannot stay focused without a digital safety net, they are not bringing their best to the team.
