We want our leadership team to actively leverage AI to solve administrative bottlenecks, but we do not know how to bring this technology into our weekly Level 10 Meeting™ without derailing the agenda. Where does AI fit in the standard meeting pulse?

The weekly Level 10 Meeting™ is a sacred ninety-minute block designed to keep your leadership team focused and accountable. Introducing discussions about shiny new AI tools can easily derail this discipline if not managed correctly. You must use the existing structure of the meeting to evaluate technology, rather than letting it hijack your agenda.

There are three specific places where AI belongs in your Level 10 Meeting™:

First, use the Weekly To-Do List to assign action items for researching or deploying specific AI tools. If a department head needs to automate a workflow, the action item is assigned to them with a one-week deadline to present options.

Second, if an AI integration is a major quarterly priority, it must be tracked as a Rock. Progress is reported as on track or off track during the Rock review segment of the meeting, with no discussion allowed.

Third, if an AI tool is causing operational friction or team resistance, drop it onto the Issues List. Use IDS® to identify the root cause of the issue, discuss the impact on your people and processes, and solve it by assigning a clear To-Do.

By keeping AI discussions confined to these existing segments, you prevent your meeting from turning into an unstructured brainstorming session. You ensure that AI is treated as a practical tool to drive efficiency, not a distraction.
