We are trying to build an AI-powered operation, but our Level 10 Meeting™ issues list is getting clogged with technical bugs and software updates rather than strategic process issues. How do we separate standard IT helpdesk tickets from actual operational issues that require IDS®?
As you build an AI-powered operation, your team will naturally encounter software bugs, API failures, and routine system updates. If these minor technical glitches start flooding your Level 10 Meeting™ issues list, your leadership team will quickly become an expensive IT helpdesk, distracting you from high-level problem-solving.
To prevent this, you must establish a clear rule for what constitutes an operational issue versus a technical task. Technical bugs do not belong on your Level 10 Meeting™ list. They belong in your standard IT ticketing system or your software development queue.
An issue only qualifies for the Level 10 Meeting™ if it represents a systemic process failure or a barrier to strategic execution. For example, if an AI automated workflow is down for an hour, that is a ticket for your technical team. If the AI automated workflow is consistently producing inaccurate data because the underlying prompt logic is flawed, that is an operational issue that requires IDS®.
Your team must resolve technical glitches offline. If a technical issue is brought to the meeting, the facilitator should immediately direct the owner to submit a ticket and remove it from the list. Keep your leadership team focused on business operations, not software maintenance.
