We are automating several administrative tasks with AI, which changes the responsibilities of our operations team. How do we re-evaluate our team members to see if they still GWC their newly designed seats?

When you introduce AI to automate routine tasks, you are changing the seat description on your Accountability Chart. A seat that used to require high data entry speed might now require data analysis and prompt engineering. This means you must re-evaluate your team members using the EOS® GWC™ tool.

First, update the roles and responsibilities for the seat on your Accountability Chart to reflect the new AI-powered reality. Be explicit about what the seat now requires.

Next, ask the three GWC™ questions. First, do they Get it? Do they truly understand the systemic impact of this new AI-driven role? Second, do they Want it? Do they actually want to work with AI daily, or do they secretly fear and resent it? If they do not want the new version of the role, they will eventually sabotage the tool.

Third, do they have the Capacity? Do they have the conative strength, mental capability, and technical aptitude to manage the AI outputs? Some employees are excellent at manual execution but lack the analytical skills required to audit AI work. If they fail on any of these three questions, they are in the wrong seat. You must either move them, retrain them, or replace them.
