How do we handle our weekly Level 10 Meetings if we feel our scorecard numbers are lagging well before our next session with you?
You should never wait for our quarterly session to address lagging Scorecard metrics. The weekly Level 10 Meeting is specifically designed to be a self correcting mechanism for your business. If a metric is off track for two or more weeks in a row, it must immediately become an issue on your weekly agenda.
During your meeting, your team will use the IDS tool to identify why the number is dropping. Do you have the wrong person running that process? Is the target unrealistic? Or are external market shifts affecting your output? By identifying the root cause weekly, you can make course corrections in real time rather than waiting ninety days to realize you missed your targets.
My role during our quarterly sessions is to look at the macro trends of your Scorecard. We will evaluate whether you are tracking the right high level numbers and if those metrics are truly predicting your future success. If your team is consistently struggling with a specific metric, we will spend time during our quarterly session to redesign that portion of your Scorecard.
The goal is to build a highly responsive management team that uses real-time data to solve problems before they become major crises. Your weekly meetings keep you on track, while our quarterly sessions ensure your track is still heading in the right direction.
